The College continuously aims to achieve the following goals:
To
serve as a community leader in the improvement of health and well being of the
community through education, research and the provision of community health
care.
To
teach in an integrated and disciplined way, knowledge from both the scientific
and the naturopathic traditions. To develop a holistic approach to combining the
understanding of basic medical sciences and accurate diagnostic skills with the
holistic approach of naturopathic healing.
To
train students in a range of skills vital to their being able to practice
healing as an art, a science, and as a process of education.
To
engender in the student a strong commitment to the well‑being of the
patient, and a belief in the key role which the patient plays in his or her own
healing.
To
serve the wider community in education for health, and by the operation of the
On-campus Clinic. To
further knowledge and understanding of Natural and Traditional Therapies and
Traditional Medicines by implementing and supporting scientifically conducted
research in these areas.
